Fazendas
Located in the state of Ceara, our seven farms - 10 thousand hectars of land, with 4 thousand hectares of these being productive - produce 28 million fruits annually which are picked from around 330 thousand hybrid coconut trees and generate 580 jobs directly.
Part of this plantation (around 100 thousand coconut trees) is fertirrigated by means of a technology imported from Israel which consists of sprinklers which irrigate each coconut tree individually and automates the system of fertile-irrigation, guaranteeing a uniformity in the dosage of water and nutrients.
This area was the first in all of Brazil to use this method of irrigation (1999), which elevated the production from 60 to 139 fruits per plant per year.
In thinking about the development of our collaborators we created an adult literacy project which provides the knowledge necessary for everyone to fill their role as a citizen.
